"Searching for a home can be very tiring and stressful, particularly if you are trying to do this from another state. We had limited time to view properties in the Destin area. Dean personally took us to view properties that he thought met the description that we provided to him by email and phone. After spending an enjoyable 2 days looking at property with Dean, we discovered that we wanted something quite different. He never pressured us to buy a property, yet he was organized and efficient. He gave us excellent information about the neighborhoods, flood zones and bay water depths. He personally recorded video footage of the entire home of interest. This led us to step back and ultimately identify our future Destin home. Our initial offer was preempted by another buyer. Dean kept up with the progress of the potential deal and quickly stepped in to place our offer when the deal began to sour. Had he not been such a shark we would not have our new home today. His team made the closure process so easy to complete while being out of state. "We are first time buyers of rental property in Destin. Dean helped us every step of the way. He is, without any doubt or reservation the absolute best real estate agent I have ever worked with. Showing us properties: We wanted a property within our budget which would primarily be a revenue generating property for us as we entered retirement in about 10-15 years. We wanted it to be beach front in the Destin area. He showed us numerous properties within a range of our budget. He guided us towards what he felt was the best property for us, our budget and our revenue goals. He setup a special property search for us through his website and also was available at anytime when we found something we were interested in. He put us in touch with a lender to get us pre-qualified. We drove down to Destin and spent a weekend looking at properties. We finally narrowed in on one. We went back home feeling confident and ready to put in an offer. Then, we did some more research, increased our budget range, and must have changed our minds 3 or 4 times. Dean was very patient with us and accomodating...always providing us guidance...but was not pushy. After about a week we finally picked a property and made an offer. The seller was not easy to work with, however, Dean made things go smoothly and made it happen. Closing on a property: Dean has a team of resources which all closely coordinate to get us through the closing process. Lender, Title company, Inspector, Appraiser, etc.... Even though he gave me clear contact information for each, i mainly only had to communicate through either Dean or one other member on his team. They were all pro-active to ensure our tight closing deadline was met. If I couldn't get an answer on something, Dean would get it for me. We closed (remotely) and are now proud owners of our first beach condo! Throughout the entire closing process, Dean stayed in touch to make sure everything was moving smoothly. First week of property ownership: You would think that after closing, the service level would drop off....wrong. We just happened to be in Destin when our first renters showed up. Due to circumstances out of my new management companies control, the condo had not be cleaned or prepared, there were no parking passes or wrist bands available for my first renters as a new rental owner. Again, Dean stepped up and helped me coordinate with the necessary resources and helped make it happen. He even took money out of his own pocket to help me fix the door arm on the front door of the condo (which should have been fixed by the seller). Even after we had things settled for the new renters, Dean continued to stay in touch with me during our first week of ownership just to make sure everything was okay. I cannot say enough good things about Dean. Any of my friends or family who wish to buy property in Destin area will get Deans contact information (and a lashing if they don't use him).
